i was just sitting in this cafe minding my own business and watching the world go by when suddenly these huge meteorites are filling the sky right? and one sails right over my head and flies out to sea and smashes into the ocean about 40 miles out from the shore. And then like half a minute later this wall of water hits the bay and everyone got swept away, and i was like 'Led Zepplin ruuuulllleeeee'...

So yeah, all in all very pleased stock images from sxc.hu: [link] morguefile: [link] and probably mayang: [link] (cant remember tbh) comments and favs are very much appreciated (as always!) Something I noticed was how abruptly the star field stops, like on that straight line. I would fill the sky with stars all the way down to the smaller planet, and then begin fading them out as I went down past the clouds.
Besides that, great piece! "Wish you were here!"

i like the suggestion about the stafield, but i really wanted the pic to feel as though you were more 'down to earth' so i wanted the starfield kept simple and minimal
thanks for the comment mate
After I commented I noticed something else (sorry, I see all the little details)
On your closest water burst thing, the very tip top of it, it cuts of in a straight line. I would round it out, or smudge it, or something. Good day
